Ceelah

Overview

Ceelah is Tilka's traceability platform for agro-commodities, built to help exporters comply with the EU Deforestation Regulation (EUDR). Field agents use the mobile app to map farms and capture supply-chain records and compliance surveys, and the platform also runs on the web.

The challenge

Field agents work in remote areas with weak or no connectivity. The app had to capture farm and survey data offline and sync it reliably once a connection returned, without losing anything.

What I built

• Built and shipped the React Native/Expo app, live on the App Store and Google Play, and own it from architecture through EAS builds and releases.
• Designed the offline-first sync layer with Zustand, TanStack Query and persisted storage, so field data syncs reliably once connectivity returns.
• Built Mapbox/GPS farm mapping and the survey modules field agents use to capture compliance data.
• Built the platform's web frontend.
• Fixed production iOS crashes after an SDK upgrade by resolving duplicated dependencies and build configuration.
